I have multiple master's degrees, one in Music Education from the University of Portland, and another from Drexel University in Arts Admin. I have over 25 years of experience working in education, from K-12 to higher ed. I previously acted as Executive Director at an organization which served 70,000 students from pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade in the realm of education and the arts. While working with this organization, I worked on building programming and curricula that paired schools with artist residencies. Previously, I worked at the YMCA tutoring reading to adults. I've also taught piano privately to children and elders. My areas of expertise are music, reading, writing, editing, college essay prep, art, and grammar/mechanics. I currently work as a marketing director with a music college that is a part of a larger university. The most rewarding part in all my time working professionally in education and administration has been acting as a mentor to students of all ages and levels of study. I love to hear about a student's aspirations and assist them in reaching them. I also enjoy helping students become prepared for employment and their careers. In my personal life, I'm involved with my local rotary club and a handful of cultural organizations. I also love playing the piano, reading, and quilting.
