I have always enjoyed the feeling I get when I have successfully completed a difficult undertaking or understood a complex concept that had been eluding me. That's what I want to see in the students I tutor, so I use all my skills and abilities to help make that happen. I trust that each student I work with definitely has the ability to reach their goals and work through whatever challenges they may be facing, and I help them gain the confidence they need to move forward. I have had various positions that allowed me to aid students in their learning ventures. I've had many great teachers, tutors, and mentors along my way, and I like to pay that back by providing the same role model for students now. I am available to tutor students in all the basic classes like math, English, social studies, and science, and have also had success tutoring students who are studying for the SSAT, ISEE, or other standardized tests. Outside of academia, I enjoy things like photography, art history, American history, and especially, dark chocolate.
